HMV102

Post by Burtemg »

I am currently collecting all hmv102 colored gramophones, but I noticed that there are different shades of blue.its hard to choose which one to keep. The french one is less bright blue....
Its very difficult to find them in perfect undamaged condition!

There is a yucky brown one which is rare ! It must have been a poor seller because of the colour

There is also a light green, which like the pink version was never catalogued.

I suspect that like Victor , the Gramophone Co had a department that made bespoke machines and probably would cover a 102 in any colour you would like ! I once had an HMV 202 in a beautiful pale golden oak , never in their catalogue and probably made to order

Whichever blue one pleases you less I will gladly relieve you of! :P
Although I suspect that shipping it to the States would cost a bundle!
