This is a lousy picture since it's a scan from a low quality old snapshot but you can get the gist of it -- a modified front-mount bracket used on a Rigid Arm. It's been years since I sold this one but as I remember it, someone had sliced it at the angle, bent the top section up, and brazed a piece of brass into the opening to give it some strength and hold it at the proper angle. It was a pretty good job and worked well but you can definitely see the difference between this and an original.

Thanks guys for all the responses. I think for now, I will hold off on the elbow. If I run across one in the future I'll be able to complete the machine. As for now, I have an extra back bracket with a tapered arm and elbow that I will put on for now. The machine will still be correct and I will replace it with the rigid arm parts later when an elbow be it original or repro is found. If you run across one please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

Regards, Wes

You may want to get a reproduction elbow as you will have to solder a fitting into the elbow to replace the rubber insert.
