A similar machine is pictured in figs 4-58 and 4-59 of GFP's "A World of Antique Phonographs".

The buyer would certainly need to be local, as that glass horn would require delicate handling. I wonder what it sounds like?

Two variations of Crystola horns have been seen- one made of flat cut mirror glass joined together, and an example with the horn cast in one piece.

Yes, It's a rare bird. The only drawback is the glass horn, and like what Curt said requires special handling. They do sound pretty good. I saw one of these in a collection.

And it sold for only $99.00 - an off brand collectors dream, just too far from my Jersey home-base :roll:
