You are right, sorry for my mistake. I was after work and I was a bit tired.
I will post proper pictures asap. Now when I'm looking on the pictures of your machine's arm I have an impression that part that I gave you a dimensions at the beginning is also missing. The tonearm looks a bit like collapsed in the mount.

It does? No, the part is there, even though the holes were ripped and had to be repaired. But you are correct, the tonearm does look a bit deeper in the bracket than yours. Maybe the repair put the ring a bit deeper, but it moves freely and seems reasonably tight.

I have to ask you about another favour, alanag. How long are screws that connects mechanism with the cabinet? How thick is rubber between them? In my machine every of those screws is different and none of the fits well. Could you also make pictures of start/stop system in your mechanism and send me pictures?

Alang, I don't think that the rest would be that difficult to reproduce. If you have a band saw with a metal cutting blade the fork could be cut from flat steel stock. In lieu of a bandsaw, you could trace the design onto flat steel stock and use a drill or drill press to outline the tracing by drilling holes close together. Once you have drilled holes around the entire design, you could use a dremel or other small grinder to connect all of the holes and cut it out. After you extract the piece from the steel stock, you would clean it up with a bench grinder. You could use a premade hinge and cut it to shape for the end and have someone tig weld it together... just an idea.

Thanks Curt. I've been thinking along similar lines. First I want to look for a hinge with long arms, that would avoid the welding. I'm keeping my eyes open in the hardware stores, maybe I find something close.
