My suggestion here is to count something extraordinary that has happened in the purchase of a machine or accessory related to our collection.
What counts is not the most rare piece but some curious, unusual or extreme luck indeed.
In my case, I found in a flea market here in Brazil, more precisely with a street vendor, an interesting box rests directly on the ground, opening notice something amazing, 50 boxes sealed with original silk semi-permanent needles Victor realized that the seller did not know he was holding and trading, asked if he would sell me anything, he agreed and closed at $ 500.00, roughly $ 220.00, the 50 boxes, each with 8 needles, each needle 100-300 executions.
Needless to say I have my needles to use for many years !!!

I suppose it is the stock of any store phonographs off many years ago.

That is a great find, and the price is not bad at all for that many plays of the tungsten type needles.
