2014 Phonograph Show Danbury, CT- September 6-Info. Needed

Post by EdiBrunsVic »

My wife and I will be visiting relatives near Hartford and want to know more about the show. Who is planning to attend and what will be available for sale? We live in Texas and do not get to attend shows very often. Thanks for any information forum members can provide.

Hello,
We have been to the show three times and might go this year, not sure. If you are already in the area, it would be well worth checking out. In the past years there has been all manner of cylinder, disc, music box machines, and radios, and a nice selection of newly made wood horns for cylinder and disc. There has also been glass horns for sale. Ron Sitko is usually there selling lots of parts. There are cylinder records to look through, and lots of 78's, and sometimes Diamond Discs. There is usually all kinds of parts to look through

Hope this helps,
Mike

I've attended the last 2 or 3 and I usually come home with something good. It's a bit smaller than Wayne. Some of the same dealers from Wayne come to Danbury too, but there are many who don't, so the variety is good.
