VV 1-70 Motor... How many plays?

Post by Victrolacollector »

How many plays should I get with a VV 1-70?
It has the Burton Motor. I am getting about 1 and ½ sides on a winding.
I am using 10" records.

I am wondering if my mainspring(s) may have been shortened?

That's about right. It uses a puny 1 spring motor, so between 1 ½ - 2 sides is good for this machine.
