Agreed, you don't need it as a Model-C is fine. The Indestructible reproducer is louder due to being spring loaded.

I believe that Indestructible possibly marketed their own machine as well, but I'm not 100% on that. I thought that I read it somewhere. Or, maybe it's possible that it was in the planning stages, but the project was cancelled. I do not remember which. I would have to read up more about it.

Tony,

They never actually marketed a machine. I will be posting a little article about the Albany Indestructible Company here eventually that might clear up some misinformation that has been floating around for quite sometime. I'll say this much in the meantime, the factory they had here never had the space or the means to manufacture machines though.

Some day, I'll have one of those reproducers, local history requires me to have one!

So why anyway did this thread that started with a posting of some interesting brown wax, turn into an advertisement for indestructibles? Anyway, I like the brown waxes you posted, and we need to see more of them. I have about 8 original brown waxes, not many. Why don't we post photos of different kinds of brown wax cylinders. Post photos of both ends, and the spirals, note if they are single or double spiral, the color, record number and year and company. The earlier the better.

I was asking myself the very same thing? It's not the first time I have seen a thread go in a different direction. Or should I say hijacked? Don't get me wrong I love the indestructible's, but I was looking for a little more on the Brown wax cylinder records, and what everyone thought of the one's I posted. Although, if you want to talk about the indestructible's, we could start a thread on those? Just a suggestion?

That's what I thought Sean!
