Any forum members grab this A-250?

I tried to grab this, but it was already taken! :x :D

An A-250 for $250... anyone here grab it?

hey dean,

I saw that machine the other day, didn't make any attempt to buy it though. I think it's a B-250, though... doesn't the A have a few vertical cut outs on each side?

Hard to tell from the pics, but you very well could be right.

Only the first of the "A-250s" had the three louvers on the sides of the cabinet. The photo of the mechanism, such as it is, looks more like an "A" bedplate to me. Hard to tell!

Did one of you guys grab this? If so congrats. I sent an inuiry just out of curiosity and was told it's sold. Assuming the pictures are not hiding something it looks pretty nice. Based on the look of the bottom drawer, (curved individual record dividers)it looks like a fairly early A250. As George points out, only the very first ones would have had the louvres on the sides.

If someone coming to Europe could fit it into thier carry-on luggage, I would have loved to have it here myself :)
