And an odd one 8016o- I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen, ith has the same label on both sides.
Rich,

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but those are all acoustics. You're probably assuming that anything numbered higher than 52089 is electric, and that's true - within the 50000 series. However, Edison used several different series in the 80000 range (80000, 82000, 82500, and 83000), and there are very few electrics in those ranges. The only electrics are as follows:
80885-80907
82351-82360
Everything else is acoustic.

Having said that, if your copy of 82532 is truly blank on the back - meaning there's no grooves at all - then you have found a rarity. Truly single sided Diamond Discs were produced for very few titles and only for a very short time. I see less than one of these a year and I have only one in my own collection.

Cheers,
Kevin

I agree with using a properly set up modern TT to get the best sound. They not only sound better but the records are not getting as much wear and tear. I listen to mine on a older Garrard and swap head shells and stylus to play 78's DD and vinyl with an Harmon Kardon HK330c amp through Pioneer HPM100's fantastic! I just use the tone controls to dial them in after all that's what they were made for? After all they are not making these records anymore. I digitize them to play on my MP3 player using my laptop and Audacity. very minimal setup I am more about the records and the music than the machines these days although if a nice machine came up cheap I guess I could squeeze it in but I would rather spend the money on records 8-)
