NIC Projector / Phonograph?

Post by a12548 »

My dumbness is showing again...here is a tin phonograph and projector, and according to the seller its from the '30's. I would imagine its been repainted or is it an amazingly well preserved mummy. As far as the bulb and wiring for the projector, that just doesnt seem '30's' to me. Anyone familiar with these. A google goggle turned up very little.

It doesn't look repainted to me, and bulbs burn out and get changed. I don't personally see anything that doesn't look "30's". The electrical connection in the back takes a standard appliance cord, which have been used since the turn of the century.

These kinds of things were used in schools and show up from time to time, although I don't recall seeing this particular one before.
