Curt, it appears to me to be the same machine in all the pictures. The first picture is dark and indistinct, but the cabinet trim and drawer is pretty unique. I'd say it is European, but perhaps someone else can narrow that down a bit.

The pictures definitely show two machines. Pictures 1 and 2 appear to be the same machine, but picture 3 is totally different as the case corners make clear.

As to possible identification features, the drawer on the first machine is reminiscent of Paillard :

Can you clarify want you mean by "also have this one"...??. I ask, because this looks like a friends machine(s) and I'm not aware of him selling anything or even wanting to.

It is in France. And it is for sale. I don't know what they are worth. Do you?

If it is a GENUINE Palmodian it could be valuable.

If it is one of the replicas, then not very much value.

I asked my friend overseas and it is not his. As Estott said...if "GENUINE"....it could be worth a fair bit as there are very few "originals". There are copies floating around and unless you know what your doing....you could get burned. Worth however, is a personal matter. Between the sellers asking price and what you are willing to pay "is" the worth.
In other words.....there is no set price.

The other issue is getting it here from France. This is a very expensive task and a big hassle.

I for one would never buy a rare or expensive machine without physically seeing it and personally bringing it home. However, that's just me.... .

That is the whole problem I'm faced with. I don't like buying anything I cant see.
