WANTED: Crank for console Victrola

Post by TVfuzz »

I'm searching for a LONG Victrola crank (fitting a horizontal console type, rather than the vertical type).

Thanks!

I have some long cranks. What is the distance from the end of the shaft to the outside of the cabinet? Jerry Blais

Crank hole is 2 ⅞" from the rear-end of the motorboard.

Consoles are different widths so the measurement from the shaft to the outside of the cabinet at the crank escutcheon is what I need. Jerry

Or the model number itself?

Ahh sorry. Its a Chippendale 500 (VV-CHIPPENDALE 500).

I'm restoring it, and don't know the exact length. I also need a 4 spring motor (not having that makes measuring impossible since I don't know where exactly the port on the motor is from the outer hole).

I don't know about the crank, but if this is a standard victor 4 spring like the credenza I can get you most of the way there.

These period models use the same four spring motors all other four spring Victors used with the "burton" motor, so yes, a Credenza motor would work.

Hope this helps.

I have a horizontal crank available if you still need it. Don't know what it goes to. Let me know what pictures and measurements you need. Bill
