No, the Victrola 50 is rectangular, while the Victrola VI is square. Could you build a modified stand using the same basic principles, yes.

Very interesting, learn something new every day. It never occurred to me that a stand would be made for a portable machine, the whole idea of such being that you take a portable someplace else to play it. I have seen stands aplenty for the little tapletop models, but never for something like the 50. I have six 50's, and I play them at home as often as I do away from home, I can see that if a portable was someone's only machine a stand would be a convenience to have. The 50 is heavy enough that it qualifies as portable only to someone with the muscles to lug it around, only my HMV 112 is heavier. Either one would look good on a stand in a way that something like the fabric covered VV-35 would never pull off.
