I know this a talking machine forum, but many of us have overlapping interests. I hope this is still appropriate for a discussion.
I found a really rough Chataqua roller organ today at an estate sale. Who sells parts for these? I found an on-line source of some parts, but is there a person like George Vollema for roller organs? I would like to find a new door for mine.
Thanks,
Dave D

Re: Roller Organ information needed
If you have the original or a part, it would be best to have someone duplicate it, since I believe that these parts are pretty much non-existent, although I might be wrong... Put up a pic and at least we will know what you are looking for.

I have some of the door and I would be able to make one, but I was wondering if there was a junk yard for these machines.Curt A wrote:If you have the original or a part, it would be best to have someone duplicate it, since I believe that these parts are pretty much non-existent, although I might be wrong... You might try this sitehttp://www.organetterepair.com/ I have several organettes. They are lots of fun to rebuild. You can also get new cobs with some really nicely arranged tunes.
