That is a lovely set, when new they were in an illustrated box.

I think Victor recouped some of the loss with later issues on ordinary shellac. I have the sequel set "MORE Winnie The Pooh Songs" with the discs in plain sleeves in an envelope.

Thanks Eric. Wish I had the box, but you know how that goes... :)

I have two or three 7-inch black Victor scrolls of Frank Luther playing/singing more kiddie songs, but offhand I don't remember what they are.

Actually I'm in error- it was an album with a graphic similar to the picture discs. Victor reissued these on regular shellac with regular scroll labels & packaged them in the fancy album. From what I've seen, the album usually took a beating.

Those are lovely.

However...
It is an unusual experience to hear electrical recordings playing from 7 inch 78 rpm records!
Not here...
