Actually, I agree with what the rest of you are saying about the information I posted; that it is not always indicative of what actually happened at VTM at the time. Most such changes likely did not happen on a strict timeline, rather new inventory was phased in as old was used up. Hopefully, we can hear from more forum members about their VTLA/VV-XVI machines and establish a pattern.
Fortunately my VTLA (s/n 3XXX) fits the VDB info and came with two of its original boxes, so I know for sure what I'm looking for.
