WANTED: Edison Cylinder Recorder(FOUND)/blank cylinders

Looking for a functional, good condition recorder for use on my Standard D. Also interested in blank/shavable cylinders or dictaphone/ediphone cylinders. Thanks.

As far as recorders, they are out there. They turn up
often on ebay. Lots of times the cutting stylus will be
missing or loose. Best bet is buy up several of them
as derelict hulks and piece them together when you
get enough parts built up to put one good one together.

I know and try to help as best that I can. One hint
I'll pass along here is I've found that the use of proper
"period" adhesives when working on recorders helps
a lot making them sensitive and to work properly.
Beeswax and Stratena glue are the way to go! These adhesives are easily reversible and that comes in handy
for taking things apart to adjust and fine-tune.

Peter Wall makes new Stratena glue and he sells it
on ebay for a few bucks per bottle and it's well worth
every penny.
