This article has definitely peaked my interest in the Cheney Talking Machines. I really like the boxy style cabinets as well. The only thing I would see a problem with may be finding parts for this unique motor.

The machines are common enough that George Volema usually has pieces. I wonder if the tone arm and reproducer are pot metal or maybe brass?
