According to my Sonora catalog circa 1922, this model is identified as the "Melodie"
Came in golden and fumed oak ,Mahogany or Brown Mahogany and has a double spring motor.
Tonearm adjustment was universal allowing play of all record types.
You may find a metal tag under the turntable that gives a serial number.

My friend Arthur Pare had a Gibbs Special table top machine.Has anyone heard of Gibbs?His was made by Sonora,and it looked somewhat like the"Melodie"edisonplayer
