FOUND: Victor No. 4 Reproducer

Post by pmonteith »

I'm looking for a brass no. 4 that is in good shape or that can be restored. I have so many electric 78s that don't get played.

If you have one, PM me or contact

Until you find a good No. 4 reproducer, a Victrola No. 2 reproducer will work very well. That's what I used on my electrics, until I got a No.4.

That's good to know. That makes sense seeing that they use the larger mica. I recently rebuilt a No. 2 that sounds good. Thanks to the forum, I found a source for a brass No. 4 this morning as well. I'll go ahead and close the file on this one. Thanks! ;)
