I showed these two photos side by side to two different people (one my Wife). I asked if they could see a difference in the two photos.

One said the position of the horn was different. Yes, that is true. However, not the "difference" I was looking for.

Anyway, I after the two were unable to see the difference.....I began to think I was just too OCD.... .

So, I thought I would try the same two photos on here.

Can you see any difference and what is it...????.

On the right, a light has been switched off in the background of the second picture.

Also, I see there's an indistinguishable dark object behind the horn at about 1 o'clock in the second picture.

Sorry, no. The lighting is the same. The background lighting is irrelevant. This is only regarding the machine and nothing else in the photos.

Part of the mechanism behind the glass is missing in the first picture but is present in the second. Could it be a drip pan?

Looks to me like two different horns.

Definitely two different horns. The solder pattern along the inside edges of the rims is different.

The horn is the same. However it has been turned.

I think I need to make an appointment to see my doctor. I thought the difference was pretty darn obvious... .

I will give this question more time. By the way, there is nothing tricky about this. Nothing hidden, etc....No hidden message if I play the photo backwards.... .

It did take a great deal of time though.

Obviously the horn has been nicely cleaned.

I think I have seen this, and a similar machine, but with different horns, before in these pages.

Starkton.....You are absolutely correct. I thank you. . The horn is a recent acquisition for our 205. However, the horn was very dirty.
The problem with these rare early Swiss horns is, the paint can be highly unstable that was used. Therefore, cleaning was a high risk maneuver.
I was able to painstakingly clean the horn without any further loss or damage.

Now both hot-air models are complete and with correct horns.
