Syringe for applying glue

Post by miker2001 »

I went to the drugstore to buy a few syringes to use for putting wood glue into cracks. (I had found that using a toothpick or thin wire to put the glue into a crack is very time consuming.) I found it works pretty well. The syringes with a screw on needle assembly works best. The needles that slip on the tube will come apart due the thick viscosity of the glue.

When I went to the drugstore, I initially asked if I needed a prescription to buy a hypodermic needle. They said no. I explained I needed it for woodworking. My girlfriend/significant other went for me to get some more. They said they remembered me. I realized that I should tell them from now on, that I am buying them because I am a drug addict. This would protect and keep my real addiction a secret!

I've been using these for a while now --> http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/Page.a ... ,110,42967

The tips can be removed and cleaned after use, and the bottles have caps to keep the
glue fresh. The multiple sizes are handy, and I use them for applying solvents from
time to time as well.

Best of all, I don't need to discuss any of my addictions with anyone as I can order them online.
