SOLD: Edisonic Schubert - $395

Post by gemering »

SOLD

Here is an Edisonic Schubert in as found condition. Plays well with no mechanical issues. Obviously the top of the lid will need some attention and the left side shows some bowing. When I obtained the machine, the collar that holds the reproducer was loose. I crudely soldered it back in place.
Can easily be removed and attached more neatly by heating the solder.
Otherwise a nice playing machine with original grill cloth.
Free delivery to the Wayne, NJ show if paid for now.
Additional photos upon request.
First to say "sold", or best reasonable offer will be considered.
Thank you for looking and have a blessed holiday season.
Gene

Crikey - I remember seeing Edisonic reproducers alone selling for about this on eBay a few years ago!

It's the last (along with the Beethoven) acoustic Phonograph playing vertical-cut records introduced by Edison. "From Tinfoil to Schubert." An historic machine that really barks too!

Well...Gene has two machines I'd love to own, listed at very fair prices I might add, and I have room (nor $$$) for neither!

I'm a little sad right now... :(

If this was located in the UK,I'd bite your hand off to get it for $395

A very rare machine indeed
