Excellent!

I have an opportunity to buy one and wanted to see if it's a must-have. Yup, now I kinda think it is!

Thanks a million.

I purchased the machine whose photo is posted here, and it is sitting in my basement right now. The tone arm is checked or crazed, and there are pieces missing from it. George Vollema says it is doubtful whether he will be able to supply me with replacement parts; I wonder if some of you who have worked with JB weld or Muggy Weld, etc., could talk a little about your experiences? I have never used either of these products, and it seems like my life up to now has been charmed in a way. I am particularly interested in knowing whether muggy weld could be used as a coating to smooth out the small cracks in the tone arm, and how difficult it would be to cast pieces. If some of you have experience with a craftsman who does this kind of casting, I would appreciate a contact.
Thanks in advance--
