The auction doesn't end for another 1.5 days .
I find this one interesting because it has the moved-to-the-right turntable, but still the old style speed control and tone arm.

Well butter my b*tt and call me a biscuit !
I thought it had concluded already.

I agree with you regarding the platter placement, and other features. I also noted what I think is kind of a high serial # for a machine badged "CREDENZA", as opposed to " VV 8 - 30 ", and, there are no "arch mouldings" over the side-storage slots.

This is the same configuration that mine has, and it also lacks the small arches. The eBay machine is No. 38058, and mine, also marked "CREDENZA", is 38474, so at least some four hundred more were made this way. Has it ever been established exactly when the tone-arm support came in (and the records supports were added) and the name plate was changed to "8-30", or was this another case of features varying on machines as the new changes were phased in? I seem to recall reading somewhere that the changes were made at or about 38500, though I can't recall where, so I have no cite.I also noted what I think is kind of a high serial # for a machine badged "CREDENZA", as opposed to " VV 8 - 30 ", and, there are no "arch mouldings" over the side-storage slots.
