Need repair info for Edison Standard Model D
Hi, I'm the happy recent purchaser of a Standard "D". It's in good shape except that the bushing (or sleeve?) that the mandrel shaft goes through is frozen. The bushing itself is cracked. Any suggestions on how to repair or replace?

The issue of replacing frozen bushings has been addressed several times... search the site for related posts. New replacements are available.

Make sure that you order the bearing from APSCO for $28 bucks. That one is the best bearing available. It is way better than the standard Brass Bushing that people are offering.
