An ebay listing with a 19.5% buyers premium and an estimated selling price of $21,000 to $42,000. At $21,000 the buyers premium would be $4,095 on a machine worth maybe $2,000. Fat chance... Jerry

This is in a government auction of seized or forfeit items. They always have completely absurd estimates, like a Timex watch valued at $6000-$10000. The selling prices are usually more in line with reality. There can be some hidden gems however.

Oh wow. Just FYI for anyone interested.

This item was actually listed in the past. The price that it supposedly sold for was 1200. It is being relisted again. I messaged Government Auction in the past and explained how the two metal plates were different on the pictures and they just insisted it is the same machine. They have very limited information on the item.

Actually, the seller has sold this set of "pictures" at least four times....$3750,$2500,$4000,$1200 since October.
So, they are just reusing this set of pics (which show two models), or......???????????. This seller has more negative feedback's than Carter's has little liver pills..... .

Maybe it's just my skeptical nature, but I can't find proof anywhere that this is a legitimate "government" auction. The eBay description is: "Based in United States, governmentauctionlive has been an eBay member since Nov 05, 2001" This means absolutely NOTHING...

Any seller can come up with whatever selling name he/she wants and this person is clever enough to add the "estimated prices" like this is an online auction of some repute and a 19.5% premium. Anybody can put a buyer's premium in their listing and if you are willing to pay it, then it becomes part of the price. In the past, sellers jacked up the shipping and handling charges, since it was not considered part of the purchase price.

A "buyer's premium" just makes sure that the seller gets a certain amount of profit on the sale and that his selling fees are covered... There is nothing saying which "government" is represented or even if ANY government is involved. Nothing states where these items originated from - i.e: drug confiscation, repossession, tax liens, etc. Considering the amount of negative feedback, I think this is just another seller's scheme to make his stuff look interesting or to make you think you are getting a good deal if you get it below the "estimated price"... just my two cents.

After much consideration, I think I am going to start selling items on eBay as: "disabledamericanvetscontributions" - kind of like "Goodwill" stores, which make you think you are donating to a worthy cause, not just giving your stuff to a for profit retail store and making a great income for its CEO.
