Edison Amberola recording horn?

This was offered to me as an Edison Amberola recording horn. Does anyone know if this is what it is, and possibly a value?

From the photo, I can't say with certainty exactly what it is, but it isn't an Amberola recording horn.

It appears to be the small part of a H&S horn.The sunburst paint inside leads me to believe this.
The rest....clearly cobbled together.

Could also be a Tea Tray Co horn, but regardless of who made it, it's clearly chopped in half.

Aside from this Frankenhorn, I always thought there was no such thing as an Amberola recording horn or any Amberola recording whatsoever? Or did I miss anything?

Somewhere I've seen a sketch in some Edison
literature of a couple of people making a recording
on a floor-standing Amberola machine.

There is a small recording horn pointing forward
out of the open lid. Can't recall now what the
context of this sketch is or was, but I do recall
seeing it.

Thanks guys. Yea Harvey I'm glad I checked before I pulled the trigger. The drive to get it would have been disappointing. I've seen pictures of the conical recording horn, but knew this one was strange.
