how rare is GOLD dance reproducer?
I never come across one nor saw one.

They are probably the least common finish but they do turn up. I've found a couple. The Edisonics turn up a little more frequently in gold wash.

The pictured one is an Edisonic. The dance reproducer comes apart just above the diaphragm with three screws. I've seen one gold one in the last 35 years but I haven't exactly been beating the bushes for one. They are all really hard on the records with that heavy weight I think.

I have a gunmetal New Standard with the earlier square weight. I'm not aware of an oxidized Edisonic since the A150 was the only model that used an oxidized (standard) reproducer.wtt11 wrote:Thank you! I have a gold Edisonic which is a factory Upgrade. I have the new Bruce Stylus in it and it does not show any obvious wear to the surface. The sound is very good.
