USSR records

Post by briankeith »

Just found a small hoard of these at my favorite antique co-op here in Northern New Jersey. All look like new with Russian sleeves that I cannot read of course. New York Fair 1939 in English. Where can I find some information on this Russian label ?? Thanks for helping :)

Click here--> http://www.russian-records.com/categori ... cat_id=269

In addition to the history, there are some recordings that can be downloaded from there.

You found some interesting records there! your records look like they were intended for American buyers as they have translations, but if you have some without translations, you can translate them yourself on Google Tranlates. If you click on Russian alphabet, you just type in the Russian letters and the words will be instantly translated for you. It looks like your record is from a movie called "Dariko".

Incidently, I just bought that title on eBay and should receive it any day now. The woman has a pretty voice.
