3Victrolas -- check your private messages

Post by JohnM »

3Vics --
I sent you an important time-sensitive PM!

I don't have her number -- can someone call her and tell her to check her PM's, please?

You may already know this but you can set up your preferences in "User Control Panel" so that if someone sends you a PM, you get a notification sent to your email address. Don't recall how I did it but it's pretty easy.

The fast way is to go here, set ‘Notification method’ and then set ‘Notify me on new private messages’ to ‘Yes’. Once you click ‘Submit’, you’re all set.

If you want to navigate there, it’s Image User Control PanelBoard Preferences.

I still need to play with the Jabber notifications—that never did work properly, and personally I’d love to have the board send me an instant message for notifications, also.

LOL  , no, I didn't know. Well, I'm going to solve that right now & set up for notifications. Thanks!
