Does anyone recognize this type of phonograph?

Post by Chilesave »

This cabinet is on craigslist but is missing the guts. Does anyone recognize what kind of phonograph this is or was? I am guessing it is an off brand; but, if I could identify it maybe it has possibilities.

thanks for any info!

Looks like a beautifully decorated generic console built after patents ran out and hundreds of companies entered into talking machine sales. I wish I could be more specific. Jerry B.

This is like deja vu. I remember a number of years ago on Seattle CL, a machine exactly like this (but with a cracked top) for sale. I remember it was not expensive and I believe it was of UK origin. Do you remember seeing it also Jerry...??.
