In the past I've seen him sell an Edison Class-M on eBay and a Berliner lever wind. This man has some amazing machines that I dream about while I'm asleep!

rgordon939 wrote:The Amberola Model 60 is very nice. I was at his place looking at his collection last week. In 2014 there was a Model 60 that sold for $950.00 and a Model 80 that sold for $3500.00. If anyone is interested he also has an Amberola Model 80 serial #1071 that is the same machine as shown in Frow's book on page 336. He also has a SUPER RARE Amberola IV for $10,000.00 (picture attached). There are only four original Amberols IV's known to exist and this is one of them. I can pick up and deliver any of these machines to the Wayne, NJ or Union, Il show for a small fee.

Amberola 80 SN 1071 sold for $3500 (plus 20% buyers premium) on May 22, 2004.

Amberola 60 SN 1109 sold for $950 (buyers premium unknown)) on Aug 31, 2014.

Amberola 60 SN 1047 is currently on Ebay.

Here is the GEM E from Gene's collection. I was the lucky one who got it.

Very nice! :) I'm still running around trying to find a maroon GEM fir my collection but hopefully some day I will find one. Maybe at my local flea market for such a bargain that it's practically a steal just like my Edison Triumph I found back in November for $450 with a morning glory horn and two boxes of cylinders. The morning glory horn is not Edison, I'm guessing Hawthorne & Sheble but I'm not sure since the horn was sanded and pained gold. :? I'm in the process of repainting it though.
