Thank you guys that helped me. The answer is, the mandrel shaft does go through the belt pulley freely. I must have buggered it up when I took it apart. Now if anyone ever ask about that dang 2,4 minute gearing, I know everything about it. I took it apart about 20 times. If I knew how to make a video, I would so we would always have it.i
