FOR SALE: Quirky Silvertone - Only $150
If you like quirky, cheap, ugly but cute little internal horn machines, this Silvertone may be for you. It sounds like it is mixing cement while it plays a full 10" record. It came to me without a crank or escutcheon so I found appropriate looking replacements. I am happy to deliver to Union or APS or will ship at cost. The price is $150 and it goes to the first person to say "SOLD!". Jerry Blais

OMG Jerry, I have that exact same machine with a totally different grille cut-out and it too sounded like a cement mixer when I got it home but with a little grease and oil it now sounds like a rock tumbling machine! Most of these Silvertone's have broken tonearms near the elbow joint and the speed control dos very little. And yes they are soooooo U.G.L.Y.
how much to ship to 07825 ?? LOVE IT

I'd guess $60 to ship to your area. Perhaps there's a good phono-nerd-Samaritan that could be bribed with a bottle of good Oregon wine to take it back near you??? Anyone??? Thanks, Jerry

I forgot to mention that in the little plastic sleeve sticking out the needle cup is a Pathé ball stylus needle. Pretty tempting, don't you think? I can get it to Union. Hit up one of your phono buddies to take it a little farther east. I'll be back to Wayne but not this Spring. When we go, we will fly. Driving to Union is far enough. Thanks, Jerry
