I recently bought my first Edison cylinder player, a Home Model B in good shape. I took the motor apart completely down to every screw, cleaned it all, greased it, put it back together and before playing my first cylinder I decided to do a good cleaning of the reproducer. I don't know how I missed it, but when I removed it from the carriage arm, I noticed the stylus bar was free to rock back and forth. So I am missing the piece that connects the stylus bar to the diaphragm and am wondering where/if I can find one, or if I will need to fabricate one.
Does the C Reproducer use a similar setup to the diamond disc reproducers where the connection between the two components is a thin cord?
Thanks for the help and I apologize for the "newbie" questions!
