Well it's probably a long shot here in North America, but I wont know unless I ask I suppose.
As the title suggests, I'm looking for an HMV Lumiere preferably the 460.
Any leads on a machine would be greatly appreciated as well.

In England there was the table top 460 and the cabinet 510. I've also seen a French model 460 that has a tilted turntable.Jerry B. wrote:How many models of Lulmieres are there? Jerry

No, I hadn't. Thank you.
That seems a little more expensive than the ones I've looked at.
Is that because it's Oak?
I guess we'll see what it brings...

Not impossible. There was one for sale at the Union show a few years ago. I don't recall how much the seller wanted, but since then I've wondered if I should have paid more attention to it and bought it.Mr Grumpy wrote:Well it's probably a long shot here in North America, but I wont know unless I ask I suppose.

Yes they did, and so did their successors the 461 and 511 which were fitted with conventional internal horns.Jerry B. wrote:Did both models come in either oak or mahogany?

It would seem so - I've never seen either model in the flesh though , only in auction catalogues.Jerry B. wrote:Did both models come in either oak or mahogany?
