Emerson Phonographs

Emerson had the first radio/phonograph console ---using a Federal radio (battery set). Or did another company accomplish the luxury first? Also, Emerson furnished record boxes in some of their "higher end models" similar to Victor ---did any other company offer record boxes for their machines?
