How much is a half herzog cylinder cabinet with all the original pegs worth?

The answer is condition, condition , condition. That said I would say $1000 plus/minus $300 based on condition, condition, condition. Even lower than $700 if it has water damage and veneer issues etc. John

Look at the bottoms of the shelves and make sure that old plywood is in good shape or you'll be replacing all of it anyway. That old three ply plywood delaminates easily and the bottom side will rub badly on the tops of your records below. I've put new shelves in three or four of them and that is often a problem. There's also supposed to be an iron weight on the bottom of the cabinet so when you open the door, it doesn't flop over from the weight of the door with records on it. They are nice cabinets though and I still have one that's had a near-death experience. Perhaps one day I'll put it back together...
