Might be worth saving.
Looks like some water damage to the bottom of the case.
One foot is broken or missing.
Crank is missing wooden handle.
No pictures in the ad, but here are some from the seller.
Good luck!

Too bad about the bottom... last year I brought-home a Packard player-piano from a cottage on Lake Cayuga.
It was "free". ( I just had to rent the truck, pay for the fuel, and buy my buddies lunch... )
The cabin had flooded at least twice that the owners knew of... The bottom of the instrument is falling-apart at all the glue-joints.
I still haven't given-up on it.

It would be really hard to bring a piano back from that sort of a problem. Holy cow are the player pianos being given away around here. I saw one up in Minneapolis a few weeks ago where the owner was giving someone $200 to take it. When they found out it was going to cost them $450 to get it hauled to the dump after they sold their house! Packard made nice pianos and made really over the top gaudy, HUGE pump organs. I used to have a Packard organ that came out of one of the Studebaker houses in Detroit!
That Edison is worth more than the $200 for parts. If someone buys it and is looking to patch up that foot I do have a pair of those legs from a mahogany one that they could cut off and make the repair with. If you bleach the wood and work with it, you could probably make a pretty good repair out of it. I know a guy that might have the remains of an oak one, but I'd have to ask. I saw it out in his shade 10-12 years ago.
I sold a grille out of one of those one ebay a few years ago and it sold for around $275. I think the A and B 250's are one of best looking diamond disk machines they made. That loose veneer at the bottom of the door is not big deal, but I have seen those where the case ends will warp.

Well folks, I bought the machine. Other than being downright filthy and having part of the foot missing, it's not bad at all. Earl, I'd love to hear if you do in fact have something I could use to fix the foot with. Part of it is there, but some isn't. She had some pieces in a ziplick bag and I had thought it was all there, but alas....
A little veneer repairs along the bottom front and that's really all it needs (besides the obvious foot repair). I've started cleaning the cabinet up and done some small motor adjustments, but it's going to clean up very nicely. It came with a bunch of DDs, most of which are the early "transfer" pressing, but there were also a handful of nice paper label dance band discs, including a nice clean BA Rolfe electric that I didn't have already. It actually has a perfect diamond stylus in it and the reproducer actually plays great after a little tweaking. It was a nice deal. Thanks to Gene for posting this, I normally don't bother with CL.

I'm sure a little cleaning will make a world of difference. Please post some pics when you've de-gunked it a bit.

I'll dig out those legs and if you want them, I'll be glad to send them to you. If enough of the foot is there you might be able to get it sorted out with stick shellac. Congratulation! I think those are really nice looking machines. I usually can't get people to reply on craigslist or I get such screwy answers I often wonder why I started down the road in the first place.

Thank you. No rush, if you find them, PM me and I'll be glad to pay you for at least postage! It's a clean break, so it should be an easy repair, I've done things like this before.
I'll post some decent photos later once I've gone over everything at least once. Good day for such a thing today with more snow coming!
