Columbia Edison or Victor Machine
Here is a poll.... Which of these three brands of machines do you prefer as your primary (favorite) brand in antique internal horn talking machines? The choices are: Edison, Columbia or Victor Victrola

Unfortunately the poll feature is broken and I do not have access to the back-end to fix it.

Re: Columbia Edison or Victor Machine
Being that the poll feature is not functioning, I'll just have to put my vote here: Edison.

This poll is like asking a parent to say they love one of their children more than the other. I can't do it. My last Victor would be my Victor IV. My last Edison would be my Amberola I-A. Jerry Blais

Re: Columbia Edison or Victor Machine
I'm kind of in the same boat as Jerry...
So, I'll have to give "qualified responses"
For Playing (Discs): Victor products, hands-down. Dead reliable.
For playing (Cylinders): Edison ( only have Standards and Homes thus far. )
For sparking the interest of a middle-aged collector: Columbia, Independent machines ("off=brands")
For an alternative to Victor ( high-quality, well-engineered, usable disc machine ): Brunswick
This may change...
