Hello,
Very nice Triumph. Too bad you didn't offer it for sale in the TRADERS section to give fellow Forum members first refusal.

I don't have a clue as to its value. I wouldn't know what to ask.flashpanblue wrote:Hello,

I have had only 1 machine damaged in shipping in 20 years. When you buy from collectors, they normally know how to pack them.briankeith wrote:Heavy machine - I stay away from EBay now due to excessive damage in shipping

What you paid for it would be a good point of referenceAmberola wrote:I don't have a clue as to its value. I wouldn't know what to ask.flashpanblue wrote:Hello,

What you paid for it would indeed be a good reference point. Also look for similar machines on eBAY. A model Triumphs turn up fairly regularly.
If after some research you are still concerned about setting a price, set it here on the high side. Potential buyers will signal your price is too high by either not responding at all or commenting publicly or privately that your price is too high.
If it does not sell, drop the price. I'd also suggest a clear, accurate description and plenty of good pictures.
It's also good not to be in too much of a rush. Potential buyers often need some time to ruminate, ask questions or seek approval from a partner. That last one is the most difficult imho...

I know for a fact that I don't have more than 800.00 in it. Surely it will go for more.

I told you I wanted that horn if you ever considered selling it...
