SOLD: Parlophone Portable - 1930's - FREE

Post by estott »

Parlophone suitcase portable, 1930's. One side sat on a wet floor & got worm damage & ruined cloth. The original grip on the crank handle is missing, the carrying handle must be replaced. Missing the record album for the lid. This takes a reproducer with a European Fitting which I do not have. Good points: this was an upscale machine & the interior still looks elegant- a polished wood motorboard and lots of shiny chrome and a special container that holds both fresh and used needles. Has a nice automatic stop and a smooth running motor, there is a large metal horn that wraps completely around the motor so this will have decent sound when it plays. INTERESTING FEATURE- this comes with an originally fitted electric pick-up (GRAWOR brand) and a volume control which plugs right into the lid. Will bring to the Wayne NJ show

IF YOU PICK THIS UP AT THE WAYNE SHOW IT IS FREE
