What reproducer do you use to play 4 minute wax? C or H?

Thanks George. That would be H. My mind don't work like it used to. I hardly ever play these and forgot.

Plus not this always works but... C comes before H...and 2 minute wax came before 4 minute :)
A (Automatic), B, C....H :D

Also, the tail of the Model H says "4 minute".

Drat! - while over-thinking the explanation I've left out the obvious! :P

If I ever get it detached from its adapter, I'd like to use a docked-weight H which came with an Amberola 30 apparently made for a language course. Pot-metal swelling has so firmly attached a brass swivel fitting that I might need to cut off (and destroy) the fitting. Somebody must have forced the issue, causing the adapter itself to be twisted apart. Meanwhile, the reproducer itself is stuck in a pot-metal ring which allows it to fit the Amb30 carriage. Ack.

I'd try penetrating oil (and patience), and follow that up with the freezer treatment if necessary. You may need to gently tap around the edges out of the adapter to get this to move. Try not to be too hard on the pot metal reducer ring as they are not easy to find.

Actually, the reducing ring came out of the carriage, and the H will come out of the ring with care - but it's that pesky nickel or chrome plated doohickey on top that won't come off the H ! Penetrating oil, PB Blaster & extended freezer sessions have done nothing - except to stink-up Mom's freezer so badly that I had to defrost it & scrub with boxes of baking soda! That reproducer setup is the only reason I bought that 30, even though it's an otherwise fine (and SILENT) 30.

ps - Now that I look at the pic & think some more, I suppose the thing doesn't really need to swivel on the neck of the H, as long as the horn can swivel on the back piece. The problem is that the back piece, which extends from the 'nipple' into the horn, must be reattached, and I doubt it can be soldered while the nipple is gripping the H's neck .

Attached pics are from a Nov 2014 "neelam" eebay listing.
