I'll agree with you there but have you been following him on Ebay? He's obviously parted out a XVI machine and is getting some crazy prices for the parts. All buy it now listings. More than I'm willing to pay but someone is buying and paying big for the parts.

I had no idea that these were selling for such prices... I figured maybe 30 or 40 dollars, but 75 to 100? At that price, I'm sadly thinking that it makes better sense to just part out this otherwise complete but crankless L-door. Ugh.

Or just be patient and wait for one to come available at a better price. There's some shows coming up that always produce parts.

I do know how you feel about parting out a machine. I looked at mine and thought the same thing. It's worth more piece by piece than as a whole unit.
