I'll agree with you there but have you been following him on Ebay? He's obviously parted out a XVI machine and is getting some crazy prices for the parts. All buy it now listings. I had no idea that these were selling for such prices... I figured maybe 30 or 40 dollars, but 75 to 100? At that price, I'm sadly thinking that it makes better sense to just part out this otherwise complete but crankless L-door. Ugh.

I do know how you feel about parting out a machine. I looked at mine and thought the same thing. It's worth more piece by piece than as a whole unit.
