I have VE 8-12X s/n 5704, with a license label date of Sept. 1927, which places this machine somewhere around summer 1927 ?

Yes sir, it was me. Seller was also kind enough to hold it for me till I'm in the area for the Union Phono Show (2 be my 1st time). Seller also may go to the show. It's been some years for him, he says. My other good deals in WI to pick up are a $395 VV-230 w/ full albums and a $300 VTLA missing one album. Of course the down side is that these trips cost me thousands in vehicle and travel expenses.
