Hello,
There is an Edison mahogany Amberola 1-A on EBay right now. I noticed that it has carvings at the top corners of the front outside mouldings. Every other 1-A I have seen has just plain mouldings. I also did an image search on line for pictures of 1-As and none had these carvings. What do you experts make of this??
Pete

Re: QUESTION ON AMBEROLA 1-A
A couple of things about this machine that aren't mentioned in the listing. It is refinished, too much toner was used so the grain in the wood doesn't stand out, has some veneer chips along bottom of cabinet, grill is a fair reproduction. Mechanically it is in very good condition.
I almost bought it a year ago, but with the refinished cabinet I decided against it.
