Exhibition Reproducer attachment - What is it?

Post by Valecnik »

Is this some sort of volume control? Very nice Victor III but note the Edison record on the platter

Here's the eBAY link.

Maybe a volume control attachment at the back of the reproducer?

I think it might just be a handle for lowering the soundbox?
Whatever it is, it's pretty neat, although I wonder how the discs like the extra weight.

GS is right - - it's simply a handle for raising & lowering the sound box. It's a hollow, nickeled tube, so not heavy at all. Not all that useful, either...!

It's an adapter to play Diamond Discs! Isn't that obvious? LOL!
