Sean I really appreciate the lead on Ron. I will give him a call. Gramophone78 thanks for the info on how to tell if a needle is new or used and the records. I will try that. Maybe I have more new needles than I thought. The woman did give me two original tins for needles which I love. The one actually still had three needles in it. I've been surprised at how loud the music is. I expected it to be quieter. I know you can get loud and soft tone needles. I really appreciate you all answering my questions, I'm sure you get the same ones over and over. I did try the search function a few times before I posted with mixed results. :)

If everyone used the search function, we wouldn't get to meet new people.

Welcome to the forum Lisa. My sister's name is Lisa. I hate her. :P

Welcome, Lisa! I don't have a sister. :)

As a newcomer, you might enjoy some of the articles posted on the Antique Phonograph Society website. This one might be particularly useful:

Have fun!

There's also George Vollema of Great Lakes Antique Phonograph(GLAP)in Bitely, Michigan. Check out his website. He is close enough to you to save on shipping costs.
